Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada

The short version

Puerto Plata's historic center is about ten minutes from Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada, a family-focused all-inclusive on Costa Dorada beach, formerly called Iberostar Costa Dorada. Children get their own pool, Star Camp kids have a separate one, and the main pool is split into three sections. Days can be filled with tennis, archery, pickleball and diving. The resort is closed for refurbishment from August 30 to October 26, 2026, so ask me to check dates after that.
