Hotel Xcaret México

The short version

If your group spans several ages, look at Hotel Xcaret México. An expansion took it to 1,800 suites and 20 restaurants, and several of its Casas are aimed at a particular age group: Casa Luna for families with children up to nine, Casa Sol for teens 13 to 17, and Casa Fuego for adults 18 and over, with its own rooftop infinity pool. Unlimited entry to seven parks and a free round-trip airport shuttle are included.

Good to know

• Opened in December 2017. An expansion added 900 suites, spread across 10 Casas, bringing the total to 1,800.
• Casa Fuego is the adults-only section, facing the Caribbean, with its own rooftop infinity pool, private reception, gym and Fuego restaurant. Casa Eclipse is a quieter section aimed at adults, with the Arriba Baja restaurant.
• Casa Luna is aimed at families with children ages 0 to 9, with the Lunateca early-learning space, the Xiquit Inn play hotel and a kids' pool.
• Casa Sol is designed for teens ages 13 to 17 and includes the Dixtrito 1317 teen space.
• The stay includes unlimited entry to seven parks (Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xoxi, Xenses, Xenotes), a free round-trip airport shuttle, and transport every 30 minutes to Xcaret, Xplor, Xplor Fuego and Xenses.
