Beach Palace

The short version

Families who like plenty going on in one place should keep an eye on Beach Palace. The resort at Km 11.5 in Cancun's Hotel Zone has been closed since August 2025 for a full renovation: every room redone, new restaurants added, and plans for a bigger water park plus an adults-only rooftop with two pools. The official site is taking bookings from October 2026, so ask me and I'll check current dates.

Good to know

• The renovation plan called for a bigger water park with a larger main slide and two new flumes, plus an adults-only rooftop with two pools.
• Six places to eat are listed: a buffet, Carvão for Brazilian rodizio, Los Tacos, Momo for Pan-Asian, Tavola for Italian and the Madremía Latin restaurant-bar.
• Rooms come with a double whirlpool tub, an in-room liquor dispenser and a minibar restocked daily. Room service runs 24 hours.
• Children have The Playroom, an indoor play area.
• You are at Km 11.5 on Blvd. Kukulcan in the Hotel Zone, about 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport.

Before you book

• Beach Palace closed on August 15, 2025 for a renovation that redid every room and added new restaurants and entertainment spaces.
• The official site is taking bookings from October 2026 but gives no exact reopening date, so confirm your dates before you commit to flights.
